Why do I have to configure permissions?

We have now set the correct permissions for the file. However, sometimes after unzipping the files, they might be lost. Just make sure you set the correct permission after uploading the files.

When I opened the CGI scripts in Notepad, they look corrupted.

This can happen sometimes. There is nothing wrong with the files. Close the file you just opened in Notepad. Just open the same file again in Wordpad.

How can I send an email to my subscribers every other day?

Add a new account or edit the account you created.

In the Add message frame make sure to set the interval to 2,4,6,8.

I'm getting an internal server error when I try to access the login page.

There is something wrong with one of the following:

Check the config.cgi. Make sure all variables are set correctly.
Check the page where the activation script is located activate.cgi.
Check the permissions of each CGI script.
Have you loaded the scripts as ASCII and not binary? They must be loaded as ASCII to work.

How can I activate the autoresponder script after I have imported it?

There are 2 ways to do this:

Visit the page where you entered the activation code.
You can also activate directly on: http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/autoresponder/activate.cgi

This will also activate the autoresponder script.
